MetroFi offers a variety of services for public Internet access, city mobile workers, video, voice over IP (VoIP), Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and Fixed Wireless.

Each service supports a number of industry standard security protocols including WPA, WPA2 and AES encryption. Services are prioritized over the network to ensure public safety and mission critical applications have precedence over less sensitive information.

Mobile Worker – asymmetric service providing 1 to 3 Mbps downstream for fast web surfing, email and remote access. Service supports Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) for security.

Video – symmetric service providing 256kbps to 1 Mbps for streaming of MPEG-4 video over the network. Video services used for fixed camera traffic monitoring and video surveillance.

VoIP – symmetric service providing 90kbps for low latency voice traffic.

AMR – automated meter reading symmetric service providing 45kbps with a usage cap for both upstream and downstream bandwidth.
