Chuck Haas CEO, Co-Founder Chuck is CEO of MetroFi, which he cofounded in 2002. Previously, Chuck cofounded Covad Communications where he held various senior management positions in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Operations and General Management for Covad's wholesale distribution channel. Chuck has over fourteen years of sales and business development management experience with Intel Corporation. At Intel, he managed corporate business development, focusing on opportunities in the broadband computer communications area, and played a principal role in the development of the company's Residential Broadband strategy. Chuck holds a BS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. John Johnston August Capital John Johnston is co-founder of August Capital, and previously served as a general partner with two other venture capital firms, Technology Venture Investors (TVI) and Hambrecht & Quist Venture Partners (H&Q). During his venture career, John has invested in more than 25 companies, serving on more than 20 boards of directors. His high-technology venture investments include eShop (Microsoft), Frame Technology, Intuit, Insignia Solutions, Logic Automation (Synopsys), Saros (FileNet), Sybase, Visio and Xilinx. Jackie Kimzey Sevin Rosen Funds Jackie Kimzey joined Sevin Rosen Funds in 1999 after nearly 20 years as an executive at wireless carrier and service provider companies. He brings a keen understanding of what it takes for a promising venture to evolve into a successful business and company. He has held management positions at the semiconductor manufacturer Mostek and was also co-founder and CEO of wireless provider ProNet. He helped develop proprietary products, generated "turn-around" strategies, recruited top executives, and played both key roles in mergers and acquisitions. Frank Marshall TiMark LP Frank Marshall served as interim Chief Executive Officer of Covad Communications Group from November 2000 until July 2001. He now serves as a member of the board of directors for PMC-Sierra and several other private companies. Previously, Frank was Vice President, General Manager of Cisco Systems Inc.’s Core Products Business Unit, and he has also served as Vice President of Engineering for Cisco. He is a member of the technical advisory Board of Interwest Partners and is a Venture Partner at Sequoia Capital. Pankaj Shah President & CEO, Tonic / MetroFi Co-Founder Pankaj is an entrepreneur with a proven track record for building companies. In 2002, he co-founded MetroFi, and was its initial CEO and Chief Strategist. Currently, he is President and CEO of Tonic, the leader in reducing the amount of unsolicited postal mail and catalogs delivered to U.S. mailboxes through its flagship service, GreenDimes. Prior to Tonic, Pankaj was founder and CEO of 4INFO, which during his tenure became the dominant consumer-facing mobile search company for cell phones. From 1999 - 2001, Pankaj built the e-commerce strategy group and led retail consumer services at Covad Communications. He has also previously served as an engagement manager at Sapient, and held strategy positions at Staples and Inacom. |
